ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Simulation language

Simulation language is a type of computer language that lets you create pretend scenarios to see how something might happen. Imagine you are playing with dolls or other toys where you can move the characters around and pretend they are doing things. Simulation languages do the same thing but on a computer. They let you make a pretend world where different things happen and you can test out things to see what would happen. It helps us understand different things about the world we live in and can be used for things like creating computer games or even to model weather patterns.
