Simultaneous localization and mapping

Simultaneous localization and mapping, or SLAM, is a way for robots to explore and learn their environment. It works by using sensors to collect data about the world around it and then using that data to make a map of where it is. This map helps the robot figure out where it is located and how it can move around. It also helps the robot remember where it has been, so it can learn from its experiences. It's like a robot memory!
