Sindhi Transliteration

Sindhi transliteration is when we take the way words are written in one language (Sindhi) and write them in another script or writing system (like English or Roman script). This helps people who don't know how to read and write in the Sindhi script to still be able to read and understand Sindhi words.

So, imagine that you can only read and write in English. But you want to read and understand Sindhi words as well. With Sindhi transliteration, we take the Sindhi words and write them out in English letters that are closest in sound to the original Sindhi letters. This way, you can read and understand the Sindhi words even if you don't know how to read the Sindhi script.

For example, let's say the Sindhi word for "hello" is written like this: سلام. In Sindhi script, this looks very different from how we write "hello" in English. But with Sindhi transliteration, we can write it like this: "salaam". Now you know how to say "hello" in Sindhi, even if you don't know how to read the Sindhi script.

Overall, Sindhi transliteration helps make communication easier between people who speak different languages and use different writing systems.
