Sindhu Kingdom

Okay kiddo, so a long time ago there was a kingdom called the Sindhu kingdom. It was located in what is now India and Pakistan. This kingdom was ruled by kings and queens who were very powerful and had lots of land and people who worked for them.

The Sindhu people were very clever and they developed a writing system called the Indus script which helped them keep records. They also made very pretty things, like pottery and jewelry, which they traded with other kingdoms for things they needed.

They were very good farmers and grew crops like wheat, barley, and cotton. They also raised animals like cows, goats, and sheep.

But eventually, the Sindhu kingdom disappeared and nobody knows exactly why. Some people think there was a big natural disaster, like a flood or earthquake, while others think there might have been fighting or disease. But even though the Sindhu kingdom is gone, we still have many artifacts and records of their existence which helps us learn about their way of life.
