Singijeon

Singijeon is a type of rocket that was used in 15th century Korea. It was made from a bamboo tube filled with gunpowder and some arrows. When the gunpowder was set on fire, the singijeon would fly up into the sky and the arrows would shoot out of the tube, making for a very impressive sight! People used these rockets for things like religious ceremonies or military demonstrations.
