ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Chongtong

Chongtong is a traditional Korean game that is played with stones or pebbles. It's kind of like marbles, but with different rules.

To play chongtong, you need to first draw a playing board on the ground or on a piece of paper. The board has different sections that are numbered from 1 to 9.

Next, each player has a certain number of stones (usually five) that they hold in their hand. They take turns throwing their stones onto the board and trying to land them in the different sections. The goal is to get as many stones as possible into the high-scoring sections.

If a player lands a stone in a section that already has a stone in it, they get to knock that stone out and take over the spot. But if they don't land in a section or their stone is knocked out, they don't get any points and it becomes the other player's turn.

The game continues until all the stones have been tossed and the scores are tallied up. The player with the highest score at the end wins!

Overall, chongtong is a fun and strategic game that has been enjoyed by generations of Koreans. It's a great way to spend time with friends and family while testing your throwing skills and competitive spirit!
