Single-payer health care

Single-payer health care is a system where the government pays for everyone's health care. That means that instead of each person paying for their own health care, like an insurance bill, the government pays for it instead. This makes health care less expensive for everyone because the government can use its power to get the best prices when it buys health care for everybody. In a single-payer system, everyone gets the same level of health care regardless of how much money they make.
