Sinjar Mountains

The Sinjar Mountains are a mountain range in Iraq and Syria. They are special because they are a holy place to some people. People who practice a religion called Yazidism believe that God created the world on the top of these mountains, and they think it is important to visit and worship there. The mountain range is also home to a group of people called the Yazidis, who have lived in the area for hundreds of years. The Sinjar Mountains are very special to them, and they are trying to keep their culture and tradition alive in the mountains.
