Skara Brae is an ancient village from thousands of years ago. It was discovered in Scotland in the 1800s and is made up of a number of small stone houses, or "dwellings". These dwellings were built so that the people who lived there thousands of years ago could stay warm and safe in the cold weather. Inside these dwellings, archaeologists have found furniture, tools, and even clues about what the people who lived there ate. Skara Brae is a great reminder of how people used to live long ago and helps us understand a bit more about history.
