Skywriting

Hey kiddo, have you ever seen airplanes draw pictures and write words in the sky? That's called skywriting! It's a special kind of writing that happens in the sky.

So, you know planes right? The big machines with wings that fly high up in the sky. Well, imagine if a plane flying high up in the sky left behind a trail of smoke.

Now, imagine that trail of smoke is not just random but a picture or words that someone wants to write in the sky. That's skywriting!

The pilot who's flying the plane has a special device that can release smoke in the sky. It's like a pen, but instead of writing on paper, it writes in the sky with smoke.

The pilot has to fly the plane in a very specific way to create letters and shapes in the sky. They can only do that by following a pre-planned route that forms the shape of letters and numbers.

This special way of writing in the sky is a great way to advertise something. Like a sale or a product launch. People who are on the ground can see the words or picture in the sky and it grabs their attention.

So that's skywriting, just like drawing or writing with a pen, but way up high in the sky with an airplane!
