Slapstick

Slapstick is a type of humor where people, usually actors in movies or shows, make funny and exaggerated movements that are meant to look silly and often difficult or painful.

For example, imagine someone slipping on a banana peel - this is a classic example of slapstick. The person would typically flail their arms, make a loud noise as they fall, and then, if the scene is done well, end up in a comedically awkward position.

Another example of slapstick is hitting someone over the head with a giant foam hammer. It's not actually hurting the person, but it looks ridiculous and makes a loud noise, so it's funny.

Slapstick is often used in comedy to make people laugh, especially when they need a break from more serious or depressing things in their lives. It's important to remember that while slapstick may look painful or dangerous, it's usually done in a way that is safe and controlled.
