Slavery in 21st-century jihadism happens when a group, such as an extremist group, takes over an area and forces people living there to do work for the group and to follow their rules. People who have been forced into slavery have no choice but to do what the group tells them. This is wrong because people should have the choice in what kind of work they do and where they live. Slavery is also illegal and should never be used as a way to control people.
