ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sloan Great Wall

The Sloan Great Wall is a really humongous group of galaxies in space. Just like how we live on the Earth with lots of other people, galaxies are groups of stars that live together in space. The Sloan Great Wall is made up of billions and billions of these stars all clumped together like a big bunch of grapes.

Scientists found out about the Sloan Great Wall by looking really far away with big telescopes. They noticed that there were a bunch of galaxies all in the same area that looked like they were stuck together. It's kind of like when you look up at the sky on a clear night and see lots of stars, except these stars are grouped in a special way.

The Sloan Great Wall is actually so big that it's hard to even imagine how big it is! It's almost like looking at an ant and trying to imagine all of its tiny little ant friends all working together. But even though it's hard to understand, it's still really cool that there are so many beautiful stars and galaxies out there in the universe for us to discover!
