ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sloshing

Sloshing is when a liquid (like water, milk, or juice) moves back and forth inside a container (like a cup, bottle, or bucket). When you carry something with liquid in it, the liquid moves around because of the way you're walking or holding the container. It's kind of like when you swing back and forth on a swing set, the movement makes you feel a little dizzy.

The same thing happens to the liquid inside the container. If you walk too fast or turn too quickly, the liquid might splash out of the container. It's important to be careful when carrying containers with liquid to prevent sloshing and avoid making a big mess!
