Slovaks in the Czech Republic

Slovaks and Czechs used to be part of a country called Czechoslovakia. But then they decided to split up and become two separate countries - Czech Republic and Slovakia.

However, even though they are separate countries now, they still have a lot in common and many Slovaks still live in the Czech Republic. This is because the two countries used to be together for a very long time, and so people from both areas have friends, family, and work in both countries.

The Slovaks who live in the Czech Republic are mostly treated just like any other person who lives there. They can work, go to school, and live their lives just like anyone else. However, because they are from a different country, they might have a different language or culture than the Czech people.

Overall, the relationship between the two countries and the people who live there is generally friendly and cooperative, even though they are separate countries now.
