Snowdrift

Ok, so you know when it snows a lot and you see a big pile of snow on the ground, right? That's called a snowdrift.

Snowdrifts happen when the wind blows snow around and makes it pile up in one spot, like a big mountain of snow. Sometimes they can get really big and cover up whole things, like cars or even houses!

People have to be careful around snowdrifts because they can be really deep and you could get stuck in them. But, they can also be fun to play in and build stuff with, like snowmen or forts.

So, a snowdrift is just a big pile of snow that happens when the wind blows it around. It can be dangerous, but it can also be a lot of fun!
