Social determinants of obesity are things that can affect how likely you are to become obese. Generally, things like how much money you have, your access to healthy food, your access to healthcare and physical activity, and even things like where you live and what culture you grew up in can affect your risk of becoming obese. Basically, if you don't have access to healthy food and exercise, it can be harder to stay fit and healthy, and you are more likely to become obese.
