ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Social ownership

Social ownership means that instead of one person or company owning something, a group of people own it together. This could mean a group of people who decide to buy a house or an apartment building and all share it, or it could mean a company that is run by its workers and customers, instead of by one person. In both cases, the people who own it make decisions together about how to use it, who will use it, and what rules will be in place.
