Co-determination

Co-determination is the practice of workers sharing decision-making power at a workplace. It usually involves workers having representatives on a company’s board of directors, which is the group of people who make decisions about how the company is run. Under co-determination, these worker representatives have a say in decisions related to pay and working conditions, safety, and new hires. This means that workers have a say in how their job is run, instead of only the boss or upper management making all the decisions.
