Societal and cultural aspects of autism are all of the different ways that people think and talk about autism and people with autism. It can also be used to describe how people react to those with autism and how they're treated in society. Some people with autism might feel like they don't fit in with their peers, or that they are treated differently. Other people with autism might not feel that way. Either way, understanding how people with autism fit into our society is an important part of making sure everyone feels accepted and included.
