ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Socioeconomics

Socioeconomics is the study of how economics (money, goods, services, etc.) affects the way people live their lives. It looks at how different groups of people interact with each other and how different groups of people use money and other resources. For example, socioeconomics might look at how income levels (how much money people have) can affect their quality of life or their access to healthcare. It might also look at how different cultures have different spending habits and different values around money. So, socioeconomics is all about looking at the connection between money and people!
