Software protection dongle

A software protection dongle is like a tiny key that you plug into your computer. It helps make sure that only people who bought a software program can use it. It won't let someone else use the software unless they have the same dongle. The dongle has a special code on it that the software checks to make sure it matches the code that was given to the people who bought the software. That way, no one else can just copy the software and use it for free.
