Soil moisture sensors

Soil moisture sensors are like little detectives that help us figure out if the soil is feeling thirsty or not. They live in the ground and constantly check the soil to see how much water is in it. Just like we use a straw to suck up a drink, these sensors use a special tool to suck up a little bit of soil moisture and tell us how much water is there. This helps farmers and gardeners know when to water their plants and crops, so they can give them just the right amount of water they need to grow healthy and strong. Think of it like a little, helpful spy who is always watching the soil, and telling us how much water the plants need.
