Solder Fatigue

Soldering is a process of connecting two materials together using melted metal, often lead. Sometimes when solder is heated it can become weaker and break easily, this is called solder fatigue. When solder has become too weak, it is not able to hold the two parts together as well, which can cause the connection to fail or not work well. To prevent solder fatigue, it is important to use the right kind of solder and make sure it is heated properly.
