Sound engineer

Okay kiddo, imagine you're at a concert or watching a movie and you hear all sorts of sounds like music, voices, and sound effects. Someone had to make all those sounds sound just right and that's where the sound engineer comes in.

A sound engineer is someone who helps create and control all the sounds you hear in movies, TV shows, concerts, and more. They use special tools and equipment to make sure everything sounds just right.

They sit in a special room called a sound booth and use a big mixing board with a lot of knobs and buttons to control the levels of different sounds. For example, they can turn up the sound of the singer's voice, turn down the sound of the drums or make the guitar louder.

They also use cool gadgets like microphones to pick up sounds and put them into a computer program to edit them. They can make a voice sound like it's coming from far away or make it sound like it's right next to you.

A sound engineer also sets up all the equipment before a show or recording session. They make sure everything is working properly and that the sound is balanced.

In short, a sound engineer helps make all the sounds you hear in movies, TV shows and concerts sound just right by using special tools and gadgets to control and edit them.
