Space weather

Space weather is a way of talking about the weather of outer space. It's just like the weather on Earth, but it's very different and it's always changing. Space weather happens when particles from the sun (called solar winds) move around in space. These particles can cause changes in the atmosphere of planets like Earth. Space weather can cause things like intense light from the sun, auroras, and radiation belts, which can be dangerous to people and to technology. The most important thing to know about space weather is that it can occasionally cause storms in space, just like storms on Earth, and it's important to keep track of these storms so that we can stay safe.
