Spain is a country in Europe. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, France, Andorra, and Portugal. It has a long history, with many different cultures and languages. In fact, the official language of Spain is Spanish, but there are other languages spoken in different parts of the country, like Catalan and Basque. Spain is known for its food, its beautiful beaches, its architecture, and its many festivals and holidays.
