Spanking

Spanking means hitting someone, usually a kid, with your hand or a paddle as a way to punish them. It is not a good way to discipline a child because it can feel like a scary and hurtful experience. It is also not very effective at teaching children self-control or good behavior because it doesn't show them to use their words or understand why something was wrong. Instead, it's better to use positive reinforcement and kind words to help kids learn the right thing to do.
