UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

The United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of the Child is a special agreement between countries that says all children have special rights no matter where they live. This agreement says that all children have the right to things like life, good health, and education, and it also says that every child has the right to be protected from bad or dangerous things and be treated fairly. Countries that sign this agreement promise to do their best to make sure all children have the rights that are written in the agreement.
