Spatial autocorrelation
Spatial autocorrelation is when the things that are close to each other are more similar than the things that are far apart. It is like when you live in a neighborhood and you and your neighbors all like the same kinds of things. The things that are close to each other are similar, but the things that are far away may be very different.
