Spatial citizenship

Spatial citizenship is when people think of themselves as part of an area, rather than just as an individual. People with spatial citizenship feel that they are part of the places they live and people they share these places with. This sense of belonging and being part of a community helps to create a sense of social responsibility, which can help to improve relationships between people and make it easier to take action to make the community better.
