ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Spatial multiplexing

Okay, imagine you have a lot of different toys and you want to play with them all at the same time. But you only have two hands, so you can't play with all the toys at once.

Spatial multiplexing is kind of like having more hands so you can play with more toys at once.

In technology, it's like having more antennas so that data can be sent and received more efficiently.

Imagine you are sending a message to someone far away. You can send the message in one big chunk, but it might take a long time to get there.

But if you break the message into smaller pieces and send them at the same time using different antennas, they can all get to their destination faster.

Spatial multiplexing is like using multiple antennas to send and receive data faster, just like having more hands to play with more toys.
