Speciesism

Speciesism is when someone treats other living creatures differently just because they belong to a different species. It can be as simple as someone thinking all cats are smarter than dogs, or as harmful as someone thinking that human lives are more important than other animals’ lives. Even though everyone belongs to a different species, it isn’t right to treat creatures differently just because they’re not the same as us. We should all be treated equally, no matter what species we belong to.
