Spice rub

A spice rub is a mix of different spices and herbs that you put on food to make it taste better. Think of it like coloring your coloring book; you have many different colors to make a beautiful picture.

Spices are ingredients that you add to your food to make it taste better, and they come in different shapes, sizes, and colors. These spices, like pepper, garlic, onion powder or paprika, have different flavors and give your food that special something, sort of like how salt makes things taste salty.

With a spice rub, you mix a few spices and dry herbs together, just like how you mix colors to create an amazing picture on paper. Then you rub it to your food (like chicken, pork, or steak) with your hands. Some people use a lot of spice rub, and some use just a little, but what’s important is that the flavors go all over the food, so that every single piece tastes the same.

When you cook your food, the spices will work their way into the meat, and give it incredible flavor, like how the colors work to make the picture look more beautiful. It’s a tasty and easy way to add flavor to your cooking, so give it a try and see how you like it!
