Spouse of the prime minister of the United Kingdom

Okay kiddo, so the prime minister of the United Kingdom is like a really important person in charge of the government. And sometimes, they have a spouse, which means they are married to someone.

The spouse of the prime minister doesn't actually have an official job or title. They aren't elected by anyone, and they don't make any important decisions about the country like the prime minister does.

But, sometimes the spouse of the prime minister will go to events or dinners with the prime minister because they are important too. They might also have some charities or organizations they work with to try and help people.

Mostly though, the spouse of the prime minister just supports their husband or wife, the prime minister. They might help them make decisions by giving advice or just being there to listen if their spouse needs to talk.

So, while the spouse of the prime minister doesn't have an official job, they play an important role in supporting their spouse and helping them do their job well!
