Statement of comprehensive income

A statement of comprehensive income is a paper that tells us how much money a company has made and spent in a certain amount of time. It is like a report card for the company's money.

It shows us all the money the company has earned from selling their products, and all the money they have spent on things like employees' salaries, rent for their buildings, and buying materials for their products.

Sometimes, things happen that can change the amount of money the company has, even if they haven't bought or sold anything. For example, if the company has investments in stocks or other things, the value of those investments might go up or down. The statement of comprehensive income also includes these changes in the company's money.

In the end, the statement of comprehensive income helps us see how well the company is doing with their money and if they are making a profit (more money than they spent) or a loss (less money than they spent).
