Station pilot

A station pilot is a train driver who works at a train station. Their job is to help other trains that come into the station. It's kind of like being a traffic cop for trains!

For example, if a big, long train comes into the station, the station pilot will help make sure it stops in the right place and doesn't bump into anything. They might also help switch the train from one track to another, so it can go where it needs to go.

Being a station pilot requires a lot of training and skill, just like being a regular train driver. They have to know all the different trains that might come into the station, and how to safely move them around. But it's a really important job, and helps keep all the trains running smoothly!
