Steady state

Steady state means that something is staying the same and not changing. It's like when you ride a bicycle and you want to stay at the same speed. You can't keep pedaling without going faster or slower, so you pedal at the same speed and then you're in steady state. It's also like when you have a toy car that you never turn on. The car is just in one spot and not changing because it's not moving, so it is in steady state.
