Steambath

A steambath is like taking a really warm and cozy shower with your clothes on! Instead of standing under a showerhead, you sit inside a small room filled with steam. Steam is basically water that has been turned into a gas by getting heated up so much.

Imagine you're in a bathroom and the shower is turned up so high that it's making a lot of steam. When you breathe in the air, it feels really moist and makes you sweat quickly. Now imagine a whole room full of steam, that's a steambath!

Steambaths are usually made of tiles or glass so that it doesn't get too hot and you can see what's going on outside. Inside the steambath, there's usually a bench or a stool that you can sit on. The steam is heated up by a special little machine that's somewhere out of sight, usually outside the room. The machine takes water from a pipe and heats it up to make steam, which is then piped into the room through small vents.

It feels really nice to take a steambath, especially when it's cold outside. Steam makes your skin feel soft and clean by opening up your pores and flushing out toxins from your body. Some people also think it helps them breathe better because the moist air is easier to inhale.

Just like taking a shower or bath, you need to make sure you stay safe in a steambath. Don't touch anything too hot and always make sure you can see what's going on around you. It's also not a good idea to stay in a steambath for too long because it can dehydrate you. When you're done, you should cool down by taking a shower or getting a drink of water.
