ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Steel fixer

A steel fixer is someone who makes sure a bunch of steel bars are put together just the right way to make a strong and sturdy structure, like a building or a bridge.

Imagine playing with a set of toy building blocks. Each block has a certain shape and size, and you can stack them on top of each other to make a tower or a house.

Now imagine that each block is made of metal and is super heavy. The steel fixer has to take all of these steel blocks and arrange them in the right order to make sure the building or bridge is safe and strong.

They have to make sure that each block is exactly where it needs to be and that they are all connected properly. Just like building with toy blocks, if you don't stack them the right way, they can fall over or collapse.

So, the steel fixer has a very important job to make sure that our buildings and bridges are safe and sturdy.
