Stereotypes of Jews

Stereotypes are things people think about a group of people that may or may not be true. People often have stereotypes about Jews that can be negative or positive. Some examples of negative stereotypes about Jews are that they are stingy or greedy, that they are more intelligent than other people, or that they are all involved in money or banking. Some examples of positive stereotypes about Jews are that they are peaceful, faithful, and hardworking. Neither positive nor negative stereotypes about Jews are really true for all Jews, but people use them to make judgments and assumptions about all Jews.
