Stochastic block model

A stochastic block model is a way of looking at lots of different pieces of data - like a group of people, or numbers - and figuring out how they're connected. For example, if you thought of a group of ten people, the stochastic block model would figure out which people had similar interests, or were from the same country, or spoke the same language. The model looks for patterns that can help explain why each piece of data is similar to the others.
