Stochastic scheduling

Stochastic scheduling is like a type of lottery. Imagine that there are a bunch of tasks (like you might have to do many things in a day) that need to be done and you are not sure which ones should be done first. Stochastic scheduling is a way of deciding which tasks to do first. It works like this: you pick one of the tasks at random (like you would pick a name out of a hat) and you do that one first. You keep picking tasks at random until all of the tasks are done.
