Stochastics

Stochastics is a type of math that tries to explain how things change over time. Stochastics looks at randomness and how it affects the outcome of different events. For example, if you flipped a coin 100 times, you might get heads 55 times and tails 45 times. This is randomness. Stochastics tries to explain how different events can be affected by randomness and how likely it is to get a certain outcome.
