Strainer bar

Okay kiddo, have you ever helped your parents make pasta? When the pasta is cooked, you have to drain the water out of it using a strainer, right? Well, a strainer bar is kind of like a big version of that strainer you use for pasta.

Sometimes in big factories or water treatment plants, they need to remove really tiny particles from liquids, like dirt or rocks. But, they can't just use a regular strainer because those tiny particles will slip right through. That's where the strainer bar comes in!

It's a really long metal bar with lots of tiny holes in it. When they pour the liquid through the strainer bar, the tiny particles get stuck inside the holes and the clean liquid flows out the other side. It's like a gatekeeper, making sure only the good stuff gets through!

So, that's what a strainer bar is! It's just a really big strainer that helps keep liquids clean and clear.
