Strange star

Okay kiddo, a strange star is a very interesting type of star that scientists have only recently discovered. We call it a strange star because it is made up of something called strange matter.

Now, you know that everything is made up of tiny things called atoms, right? Well, strange matter is like a new type of atom that scientists are still trying to figure out.

These strange stars are super dense and heavy, which means that they have a lot of gravity. In fact, they have so much gravity that if you tried to stand on one, you would be squished flat like a pancake!

But the really cool thing about strange stars is that they might be able to do things that other stars can't. Some scientists think that if two strange stars collide, they might create a big explosion called a supernova that is even more powerful than a regular supernova.

So, while we still have a lot to learn about strange stars, they are definitely a fascinating and exciting discovery in the world of astronomy.
