Stress incontinence

Ok kiddo, so stress incontinence is when a grown-up can't control their pee when they do things like cough, laugh, jump, or sneeze. It happens because the muscles that hold the pee in (called the pelvic floor muscles) are weak or don't work well. So when a grown-up with stress incontinence does one of these activities, the muscles can't hold the pee in like they should, and some pee comes out. It can be embarrassing for the grown-up, but there are ways to make it better, like doing exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles or using special pads or underwear to catch the pee.
