Stressed skin

Have you ever noticed how your skin feels when you have a lot going on in your life? Maybe you have a big test at school or a lot of things to do around the house, and suddenly your skin feels like it's all tight and uncomfortable. That's what we call stressed skin!

Basically, when we're stressed out, our bodies release a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol can make our skin produce more oil, which can clog pores and cause pimples. It can also make the skin feel dry and itchy.

But stressed skin isn't just about how we feel inside. Our skin can also be stressed by things like pollution, UV rays from the sun, and even harsh chemicals in the products we use on our skin.

One way to take care of stressed skin is to use gentle products that won't irritate it further. This could mean using a mild cleanser instead of a harsh one, or opting for a fragrance-free moisturizer. It's also important to protect your skin from things like the sun and pollution by wearing sunscreen and avoiding heavily-polluted areas.

Remember, taking care of your skin is important not just for how it looks, but also for how it feels!
