Submarine power cable

A submarine power cable is a long, thick cable that sends electricity from one place to another, even over large distances like across the ocean. It is like a big extension cord for electricity, but it is really big and really tough so that it can handle electricity being sent in it for really long distances. Submarine power cables go down really deep into the ocean and are really important for helping us get electricity from where it is made to places that need it.
