Subminiature photography

Subminiature photography is like taking pictures with a really tiny camera that fits in your pocket! It's called "subminiature" because the cameras used are even smaller than regular 35mm cameras.

These tiny cameras use a special type of film that is much smaller than regular film. This makes the pictures they take very small too! But don't worry, you can still see them if you use a special device called a magnifying glass.

Subminiature photography is a lot of fun because you can take pictures in places where a regular camera might not fit. You can also take pictures of things up close and see a lot of detail that you might not be able to see with your own eyes.

So next time you see someone taking pictures with a super small camera, you'll know that they're doing subminiature photography!
